The Story
Dearest leader,
How sweet of you to come here and try to see the story behind this mission. To your delight, the main character of THIS story is actually... you.
This initiative is built to equip leaders in the world, that we believe is entering, or matter of fact, in the midst of end times. But before we get to the heavy stuff...
Let me at least scratch your itch, I'll share a bit about this messenger.
I was born in Singapore. Raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. Buddhist household. Korean father. Chinese mother. I came to Christ in 2009 when my mother had a radical re-encounter with Jesus and I followed her into the waters of baptism. I started going to church, and the story goes like this.
The leaders like to play church, and I wound up getting hurt.
The years that followed were not easy. Corporate life with my military-based, dictator-father as my boss. Large scale business. Performance as identity. The peak was my very realization that I was a functioning alcoholic with various forms of addiction, that followed me in my later years of poverty.
2020. COVID. Bankruptcy. Rock bottom. You've probably heard a similar story. But this one was the most miserable for my family. We decided it was best to kill ourselves. Especially when your entire family have abandoned you for being "poor."
You know how the saying goes, no money, no honey.
Or in the Bible lingo - "Wealth brings many friends, but a poor man is deserted by his friend." (Proverbs 19:4)
Yes, family and friends, and everyone else with it. And even more so miserable because we came from a wealthy lifestyle, down to no rent or grocery money. Not even rice for the next day.
Long story short.
That very same day we decided to cry our eyeballs out in the game of pity party, God did in fact make a visit, and decided to give us hope.
In the middle of the mess. In the silence after the crying stopped.
He gave us a heart: "Give me three years. Tell me, if I could take you anywhere in the world to retire and start over, where would you go?"
We said Bali. He said yes.
Left with depression, alcoholism, and US$60k of debt, within 18 months God helped me build 6-figures from ZERO.
First time in my life building something that was truly mine. (My mistake here, I lost half of my clients after with this mindset. IT'S NEVER TRULY YOURS! But anyways...)
My first client paid me $35 to write a website copy. A stranger from New York I had never met in person (Don't ask how, I had at least 1,000 online friends from my teen years). I stayed up until 4AM making it perfect. He kept giving me more work. No marketing. No portfolio. No pitch.
Just a small seed. And a decision to show up completely for it.
God always sends the seed first. Your job is to steward it.
Since then, Red Moon International (my then agency) has worked with over 100 businesses and managed over $5.76 million in ad spend. Not because of strategy. But because of Matthew 6:33.
Seek first His kingdom. And all these things will be added.
That is not a principle I "read" about. That is the testimony of everything you are about to read on this website.
All of it was God.
And here is the part I need you to hear.
I am not special. I am not particularly gifted. I am not the most disciplined or the most strategic or the most anointed person in the room.
I am just someone who finally stopped building on my own terms and gave God the chance to run the show.
And what He built with that simple surrender is the reason this community exists.
Oh, and YES, He did take us to Bali and pay off all the debt, and provided all that we need and last but not least, established an amazing wild-fire-like ministry through me and my family in BaliBibleStudy.com and BibleStudyMovement.com. Whilst I run my agency, ItsRedMoon.com.
The Lord called me to establish this new common space called "Loom Lead" to bring up Christian leaders and to partner with Christ.
I am still learning. Every single day.
But I am not learning alone anymore.
And neither will you be.
Welcome to Loom Lead. Join the common space. Be held.
Christ is faithful. What He builds, holds. What He calls, He equips. And what the world cannot give, it absolutely cannot take away.

The Foundation
Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the reason any of this exists.
Not strategy. Not timing. Not hustle or talent or a good idea at the right moment.
In 2020 COVID happened and everything went down. What looked like collapse was actually God clearing the ground.
And when the building started again, this time with Christ at the centre, what grew was beyond anything a human plan could have produced. Not slowly. Not incrementally. At a speed that had no human explanation.
That is what leaders forget.
Scaling is not purely a strategic problem. It is a spiritual one.
The ceiling you keep hitting is not a marketing problem or a systems problem.
It is a foundation problem.
And the only foundation that holds, the only one that scales without limit, is Christ.
Everything here, the Bible studies, the movement, the agency, the community, grew from one decision.
To seek first His kingdom and trust Him with the rest.
Matthew 6:33.
what still works when everything else fails.
The Word of God
Businesses fail. Systems fail. Institutions fail. People fail.
But THE WORD OF GOD NEVER FAILS.
It does not shift with culture, economy, or circumstance. It is alive and active, and it has the power to change a life in a single sitting when a person encounters it honestly and directly.
This is why everything here is built around one thing.
Not programs, not personalities, not platforms.
But The Holy Bible. Open it. Read it. Let the Holy Spirit do what only He can do.
Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. -Romans 10:17

Maker
Loom Lead exists because of the "Paul" model.
In 1 Corinthians 9, Paul writes that he had every right to be supported by the ministry but chose to work with his own hands so the Gospel would never be a burden to anyone.
He was a tentmaker. He funded his calling through his work. But it involved a lot of moving parts and people.
That is what we aspire to be.
Allow the LORD to work on independently supporting the calling you have, by finding which "part" of the Body of Christ you belong to.
Whether it is alone, or with others.
It started with a Bible Study.
Loom Lead is a subministry of
Bali Bible Study and Bible Study Movement.
Bali Bible Study started on 12 March 2024. A small gathering. A cafe table. A few people searching for more of God and more of each other.
By God's grace, today there are over 7 locations across Bali, over 2,000 members across Southeast Asia, and approximately 26 on-site gatherings happening every month, with groups meeting across Bangkok, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Vietnam, etc.
By joining Loom Lead you are not just finding your people.
You are stepping into a bigger partnership with God, a part of something bigger. Not only for your own life, but for others.
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. -Matthew 18:20.
We are an independent, global, inter-denominational initiative with one mission.
To make disciples in every nation who carry, live, and pass along the Word of God.
Ordinary people. No titles required. No theological degree required. Equipped to facilitate Bible studies anywhere in the world, including places where open worship is restricted.
The commission is not complicated.
Go. Make disciples. Baptize. Teach obedience. Matthew 28:18-20.
Jesus said He holds all authority in heaven and on earth. We go in His name, not our own.
We do not build hierarchy. We build vessels. Facilitators who pass the message forward faithfully, knowing they are not the teacher. Christ is the teacher. The Word is the authority. We are just the ones who showed up willing.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14

LOOM LEAD
The Leadership Layer
Bible Study Movement is the global mandate. Loom Lead is the leadership layer.
Because the people building the mission need a place to be built too.
Leaders who carry vision and responsibility and faith all at the same time need more than a strategy.
They need people. They need accountability.
They need a space where they can bring the full weight of what they carry without being told to choose between their faith and their work.
That common space is Loom Lead.
